What is the wayback rewards program?

  • What is the Wayback Burgers Rewards program?

    The new and improved Wayback Rewards program allows our Guests to earn and redeem points for rewards across multiple channels including the all-new Wayback app, in-restaurant, online at order.waybackburgers.com and at kiosks in select locations.

  • How does it work?

    First, you need to sign up by visiting waybackburgers.com/rewards or by downloading the Wayback app. If you’re an existing user, you can log into your account once you upgrade to the new Wayback app, or you can also sign in by visiting waybackburgers.com/rewards. From there, you can start earning points!

    Earn 1 point for every $1 spent. Points can then be redeemed for various rewards.

    Rewards are unlocked automatically based on your account activity. You can see a list of rewards that you have unlocked by going to the ‘Redeem’ section of your Wayback Rewards account.

  • Is there any reward associated with signing-up?

    New and migrating guests will receive a Free Burger with purchase of $10 or more. Please note that there is a 60-day redemption period.

  • Do I get a surprise on my birthday?

    Absolutely! When you sign up, please be sure to provide your birthday and we’ll send you a reward each year! Enjoy a Free Old Time Favorite Milkshake as our birthday treat to you.

    Birthdays falling within 30 days of signup will receive their reward the following year. Please note that there is a 14-day redemption period (1 week before your birthday and 1 week after.)

  • Do you have a referral program?

    Share your Wayback Rewards invite code with your friends and you will earn 5 bonus Points after they sign up for the Wayback Rewards program and make their first purchase at Wayback Burgers! To find your code, open the Wayback app, select ‘More’ at the bottom left side of the screen. Select ‘Invite Friends’ at the top right part of the screen. Your unique invite code will appear. ‘Tap code to copy’ and paste it into a text, email or social media message. Your friend who signs up for the Wayback Rewards program and makes a purchase will also earn a free burger!

How does the wayback rewards program work?

  • How do I earn points?

    Earn 1 point for ever $1 spent. You can earn and redeem for rewards across multiple channels including the new Wayback app, in-restaurant, online at order.waybackburgers.com and at kiosks in select locations. On the app, select ‘Earn’ and either scan your receipt bar code or enter in the barcode number. If you are ordering online, log into your account at waybackburgers.com/rewards, select ‘Earn’ and enter in your receipt barcode number, and select ‘Submit’. Your Points will be deposited into your account.

    On Double Points Days, for every $1 you spend, you will earn 2 points. Be sure to take advantage of these days!

    When you order online via the Wayback app or via order.waybackburgers.com, points are automatically deposited into your account. You cannot earn points on orders from third-party delivery platforms, tax, service charges, tips, gratuities, or gift cards.

  • How do I redeem rewards, signup gift, birthday gift, and other offers?

    Open the Wayback app and your available offers will automatically populate. You can swipe up to refresh, find your desired offer and select ‘Redeem’. A notification will pop up to confirm that you’re ready to use this reward. You can redeem this reward in-restaurant or on the Wayback app. When you redeem an offer, you have 4 hours to use it before it goes back into your account. From your desktop computer, log into your account at order.waybackburgers.com, select ‘Rewards Available’ and then ‘Apply Reward.’

  • Where can I see my progress?

    Under the ‘Rewards’ section you will see your points total and a progress bar indicating how far away you are from earing your next reward.

  • I redeemed an offer but can’t find the code to give to my cashier. Where can I find it?

    If you receive email notifications, you can check your inbox or spam folder for an email from Wayback Burgers with your coupon code. You can also log you’re your Wayback Burgers app, and from the ‘Rewards’ page, select the gold bar at the bottom of the screen labeled “Active Redemption code”. This will bring up your coupon code and a countdown timer for when it will be deposited back into your account if not used.

  • I redeemed a reward but didn’t use it. Will I lose it?

    No. If the reward is not used, after 4 hours the offer will be deposited back into your account.

  • How often can I earn points?

    Points can be earned on up to 3 orders each calendar day. Consistently maxing out the earning limit on multiple days can result in an account being flagged for fraudulent activity – and ultimately being suspended from the Wayback Rewards program.

  • Can I earn points if I order on 3rd Party Delivery Platforms?

    No. Points can only be earned on orders placed in-restaurant, on the Wayback app, online at order.waybackburgers.com, or at select kiosk locations.

  • Can I use my points with 3rd Party Delivery Platforms?

    No. Points and promotions can only be used in-restaurant, on the Wayback app, online at order.waybackburgers.com or at participating kiosk locations.

  • Can I earn points if I purchase a gift card?

    At this time, you cannot earn or redeem points on gift card purchases. Gift card purchases are currently not available through the Wayback app. Please stay tuned for updates regarding this feature.

  • Do my points expire?

    Points expire only if the member has not earned or redeemed points within a 12-month period. As long as the member is active in the program, their points will not expire.

  • Where can I redeem a Coupon code?

    If you have been provided a coupon code, you may enter it in the ‘Coupon’ section of the Wayback app which can be found by clicking on ‘More’.

  • How do challenges work?

    A challenge is when you earn extra points by visiting us a certain number of times in a preselected time period. Stay tuned for communications from Wayback regarding challenges!

How do i transition to the new wayback rewards program?

  • I had the old Wayback app. Do I need to create a new account?

    If you were a member of our previous rewards program, your account, and associated points and/or rewards will be migrated over to the new program. Simply update the Wayback app in the Apple App Store or Google Play store and log in. You can also log in by visiting waybackburgers.com/rewards. You will be prompted to complete a few steps in order to successfully migrate your account.

  • I had the previous app and had remaining credit/points/rewards on my account. Where can I find it?

    Any points and/or rewards from your previous Wayback app account will be migrated over to the new Wayback app. If there is an issue with your current balance of rewards or points, please reach out by visiting the ‘Help Section’ of the Wayback app and clicking on the ‘App Feedback’ button which will initiate an email.

    Any Guest looking for unused credit should have received an email regarding this matter. If you have not received this email with instructions on how to access any unused credit, please first check your junk/spam folders, and also ensure that you are subscribed to our emails. If the issue persists, please reach out by visiting the ‘Help Section’ of the Wayback app and clicking on the ‘App Feedback’ button which will initiate an email. What do i do if i need support for my wayback rewards account?

  • How do I change my Wayback Rewards password?

    Open your Wayback app, log out, and then log back in. If already logged out, select ’Login’. Select ‘Reset Password’ and type in your new password. From your desktop computer, open your web browser to https://order.waybackburgers.com/login. Select ‘Forgot Password’ and an email will be sent to your inbox with instructions on how to reset your password. Make sure to check your inbox and spam/junk folders.

  • What should I do if I see suspicious activity on my Wayback Rewards account?

    Immediately reset your password on your Wayback Rewards account and be sure to replace it with a complex password. Remove any stored payment methods (e.g. credit or debit cards). We also recommend reviewing your account information such as your name, phone number, or email and be sure to correct any information that is no longer accurate.

  • I had a Wayback online ordering account set up, but I no longer have access?

    Now that rewards apply to orders placed on order.waybackburgers.com, your online ordering account information has been replaced with your Wayback Rewards login. If you’re still having trouble connecting your online ordering account with your Wayback Rewards account, please reach out by visiting our contact page.

  • Why is my email wrong and why can’t I change it?

    If you made a mistake with your email during signup, please reach out by visiting the ‘Help Section’ of the Wayback app and clicking on the ‘App Feedback’ button which will initiate an email. If you signed up for the Wayback Rewards program using Facebook or your Apple ID, then your email is replaced with a Facebook or Apple generic email address. Any emails sent to this generic address should end up at the email address linked to either your Facebook account or Apple ID.

  • How do I delete my account?

    Under the ‘more’ section of the Wayback app, please select ‘profile’ and ‘deactivate/ delete my account.’

Where can i find my receipts and transaction history?

  • How do I see my transaction history?

    There is an ‘Account History’ section under the app’s ‘More’ section. Please check here to review all past orders.

  • I need a receipt.

    You will receive an emailed receipt for every purchase you make. Please check the email that you used to register for the Wayback Rewards program. If you do not see the receipt in your inbox, please check your spam folder.

How Does Billing & Payment Work?

  • Can I still get points if I forgot to give my Wayback Rewards information at the register?

    Yes, on the Wayback app you can scan your barcode on your receipt to add the points to your account.

  • My receipt barcode isn’t scanning to earn points. What do I do?

    Please reach out by visiting the ‘Help Section’ of the Wayback app and clicking on the ‘App Feedback’ button which will initiate an email. Please attach a picture of your receipt to this email. We are happy to help manually add the points to your account.

  • How am I charged for my purchases?

    Once you add and save a payment method to the Wayback app, your account will be set up with instant billing, so you’ll be charged instantly and individually for all orders. Please ensure you have your preferred credit/debit card linked to your app account before you place your order.

  • How do I update the credit/debit card on my account?

    After going through the ordering process, you will be directed to a ‘Make Payment’ page. Here you will be able to adjust your credit/ debit card saved to your account. This is also where you are able to add a credit/debit card to your account if you wish to do so.

  • Am I charged through the Wayback app for my in-restaurant purchases?

    No. When you scan the barcode on your app at the register, you are activating your Wayback Rewards account only, and you can pay for your purchase outside of the app using any payment method you prefer.
    At this time, the Wayback app cannot be used as a payment method for in-restaurant purchases.

How do i contact wayback support if there is a problem?

  • What do I do if I made a mistake placing an order?

    If you have made a mistake while placing an order, or unintentionally placed an order, please call the restaurant directly and let a Team Member know.

  • How do I share my concern about the quality of my food or in restaurant experience?

    You may submit feedback through the Wayback app regarding your experience once you submit an order. You can also submit feedback through the ‘contact us’ section of our website by visiting waybackburgers.com/contact-us.

  • Help! I placed my order ahead of time at the wrong location!

    Please reach out to the restaurant from which you ordered to ensure they do not fill your order, and for help with a refund. Your emailed receipt will include the phone number for the restaurant.
